These are two different things. Closing a property group stops payments for that group only. Cancelling your PayRent account closes all your property groups and ends your monthly subscription.
Before you close anything
Check Transactions for any payments still showing Pending, and wait for them to deposit.
Download any settlement reports or transaction history you want to keep for your records or taxes.
Let your renters know so they stop scheduling payments through PayRent.
Close one property group
Click Properties.
Select the property group you want to close.
Click Property Group Settings.
Click Account Details.
Click Close Account and confirm.
This can't be undone. Renters in that group can no longer pay through PayRent. Your PayRent subscription keeps running, so your other property groups aren't affected.
Cancel your whole PayRent account
Contact us by chat or at [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask to cancel. We'll close your property groups, cancel your subscription so you aren't charged again, and confirm by email.
Can't find the Close Account option?
Contact us with the email address on the account and the property group name. We'll close it for you and confirm by email.
