Add the people you send repairs to. Vendors work from a link to each job and don't need a PayRent login.
Before you start
Sign in as a landlord.
Open Maintenance. The vendor list is on the Vendors tab when maintenance is on your plan.
Add a vendor
Go to Maintenance.
Open the Vendors tab.
Select ADD A VENDOR.
Enter a Name. It's required.
Optional: enter a Phone, Email, and Trades.
Select Save.
PayRent texts the job code to the vendor's phone and sends the job link to their email. You'll need an email on file before you can set up payouts.
Edit or remove a vendor
Each vendor row has three icons:
The pencil (Edit vendor) opens the same form.
The trash can (Delete vendor) asks Really delete vendor? A vendor who is still on a request that isn't completed or canceled can't be removed.
The bank (Set up payouts) emails the vendor a Stripe link so they can get paid. If they have no email, add one first. Once payouts are set up, the button is unavailable and its tooltip says Payouts are set up.
Expand a vendor to see their Jobs, Invoices, and Payouts.
Assign the vendor to a request
Open the Maintenance tab.
Add a request, or open View/Edit on one you already have.
Choose the vendor under Vendor.
Select Save.
Saving sends the invite. The first message leaves out the property address and access notes, which the vendor gets after accepting the job.
To send the invite again before they respond, open the request menu (⋯) and select Resend vendor invite.
