Late fees are set by your landlord, not by PayRent. Only your landlord can reverse one, so PayRent support can't waive it for you.
How late fees work
Your landlord chooses the late fee amount and the number of grace days after your due date. If rent hasn't been paid by the end of the grace period, PayRent adds the fee to your balance automatically.
If you think the fee is wrong
Contact your landlord or property manager and ask them to reverse it. They can remove it by adding a credit to your account. If you recently switched to PayRent, mention any rent you paid the old way that may not have been recorded yet.
