When will my rent deposit arrive in my bank account?

How long deposits take on each plan, how to check where a payment is, and what to do if a deposit is late.

Rent deposits usually reach your bank account 3 to 5 business days after your renter pays. The exact timing depends on your plan.

  • Go-Like-A-Pro: 3-day Express Funding

  • Do-It-Yourself: 5-day funding

These are business days. Weekends and bank holidays don't count, so a payment made on a Friday takes longer in calendar days than one made on a Monday.

Check where a payment is

Go to Transactions and find the payment. Its status tells you where it stands:

  • Pending: the renter paid and the payment is still processing.

  • Paid: the payment processed successfully and is on its way to your bank.

  • Failed: the payment didn't go through, so no deposit is coming for it. Usually this means insufficient funds or a problem with the renter's payment method.

To see which payments were included in each deposit, download a settlement report. See Quick Steps to Download Settlement report.

If a deposit is late

  1. Count business days from the payment date, not calendar days.

  2. Confirm the payment shows Paid, not Pending or Failed.

  3. Check that your settlement bank account is correct. If you changed it recently, see How to Change Your Settlement Bank Account.

  4. If it's past your plan's funding window and the payment shows Paid, contact us with the renter's name, the amount, and the payment date so we can trace it.
