PayRent can publish a public rental listings page for your business. Prospects can browse your vacant (and listed) homes, view photos or Street View, and send you an inquiry — without creating an account.
Your page looks like:
https://app.payrent.com/l/<your-unique-link>
Each unit you add in PayRent can appear on your listings page. Listings typically show:
Rent amount
City and state (or full street address, if you turn that on)
Beds and baths (hidden for commercial units)
Your listing description
Availability status (Available Now, Coming Soon, or Occupied)
A photo when available, otherwise a Street View image when location data allows
Tip: Keep unit details (rent, beds/baths, availability, description) up to date — your public page updates from the same unit record you manage in PayRent.
Sign in as a landlord.
Go to Properties and open the property/unit you want to list (or add a new unit).
Fill in the usual unit details: address, rent, type (residential or commercial), beds/baths, and availability.
In Listing description, write a short public-facing blurb (what makes the home appealing, nearby amenities, pet policy highlights, etc.).
This text is shown on your rental listing page.
Optional: use Enhance with AI to polish the description, then edit anything before saving.
Save the unit.
Repeat for each unit you want on the page.
By default, your page may already be public after PayRent creates it. Confirm the settings:
Open the menu and go to Account Settings → Preferences.
Scroll to Listings Page.
Copy your link or click Open page to preview it.
Turn on Make my rental listings page public if it isn’t already.
These visibility toggles save immediately (you don’t need to click SAVE for them).
Optional: turn on Show full street address on my public page.
Off = city and state only (more privacy).
On = street address (and unit, when present) on cards, the contact property dropdown, and search/SEO data.
When the page is private, the public link won’t load for visitors, and the in-app View Rental Listings Page shortcut is hidden.
Ways to open your page:
Account Settings → Preferences → Listings Page → Open page / Copy link
View Rental Listings Page (when the page is public) from places that show that shortcut in the landlord app
On the public page, use Share in the header to send the link via device share, copy, email, or WhatsApp.
Share the link on:
Your website or Google Business Profile
Zillow / apartments.com / Facebook Marketplace posts
Email or text to prospects
Payment onboarding “business website” fields (PayRent can prefill this with your listings page)
On your public page, visitors can:
Browse your listings (paginated when you have many).
Tap Request Details / Schedule a Tour.
Submit the Contact form (name, email, optional phone, property of interest, message).
You’ll get an email inquiry so you can follow up. Your personal email and phone are not shown on the public page.
Do | Avoid |
Write a clear listing description for each unit | Leaving description blank (a generic fallback may appear) |
Keep rent and availability current | Listing occupied units as if they’re available |
Use full address only if you’re comfortable sharing it publicly | Assuming private mode still accepts inquiries — private pages aren’t publicly reachable |
Mark commercial units as commercial (beds/baths stay hidden) | Putting sensitive personal contact info in the description |
Do I need a separate website?
No. PayRent creates and hosts your listings page. You can still override “Business Website” elsewhere with a Zillow or personal site if you prefer.
Why don’t I see beds and baths?
Commercial units hide bedroom/bathroom details on the public cards.
Why is only city and state showing?
Full street address is off in Preferences → Listings Page. Turn on Show full street address to display it.
Can I hide the page temporarily?
Yes. Turn off Make my rental listings page public in Preferences. Prospects won’t be able to open it until you turn it back on.
Who receives inquiries?
They go to the email on your landlord account.
